High-Potential AI-DePIN Plays

It’s the 48th edition of The Gems Corner, and today we will looking at some high-potential AI plays on my radar, plus other alpha bites as usual.

2024 is arguably the year for Artificial intelligence, as we are seeing some bullish signs already. Almost every unicorn wants a slice of the AI pie, and OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman is seeking to raise trillions of dollars to produce advanced chips, to mention a few.

The handwriting is clearly written on the wall. Not to mention that the Crypto AI category has been one of the fastest growing in Q1 2024.

With much ado, let’s look at some high-potential plays in no particular order.

1. IO.NET

io.net is building an enterprise-grade decentralized computing network that allows machine learning engineers to access distributed cloud clusters at a small fraction of the cost of comparable centralized services. In simple terms, they’re democratizing access to GPUs.

They’re able to achieve this by aggregating GPUs from underutilized sources like crypto miners, data centers, and hardware networks like Filecoin & Render. This enables them to give engineers access to massive amounts of on-demand computing power in a system that is accessible, customizable, cost-efficient, and easy to implement.

2. Fluence DAO

Fluence is an innovative cloud computing DePIN platform that frees computation from centralized clouds by offering natively decentralized, low-cost, and verifiable compute. They’re disrupting a potential $90 billion market with an affordable and superior solution.

Additionally, Fluence aggregates CPU resources from top-tier data centers around the world in global & resilient ways on a DePIN platform. This is a huge leap in computing, enabling companies to escape subjective censorship and data lock-in.

The Fluence FLT token recently went live on Bybit - grossly undervalued in my opinion.

3. The Posemesh Foundation

Posemesh is innovating through spatial computing DePIN. They’re a decentralized machine perception network for the next 100 billion people, devices, and AI. In simple terms, Posemesh enables the interaction between Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality via a universal spatial computing protocol.

Posemesh is exploring an uncharted DePIN territory by building at the intersection of two massive industries (AR & AI), worth over trillions of dollars - excited about this one.

4. Nosana

Mentioned it in my previous edition, so wouldn’t be talking much about it here.

Nosana is a DePIN project that provides AI users with affordable GPUs and GPU owners with an income. GPU owners can rent their GPUs to AI users, who in turn can access powerful hardware and train and use their models faster.
