Bitcoin Ordinals Inscription exceeds 10M Mints

Bitcoin Ordinals remain a fad to some, while to others, it’s the next best thing after the NFT craze.

Launched by Bitcoin Developer Casey Rodarmor, Ordinals are simply a way of inscribing digital content on the Bitcoin blockchain. Simply say, they enable the creation of digital artifacts (NFT) on Bitcoin.

Ordinals have literally re-awakened and brought true vibes to the Bitcoin community. Hitting 10 million mints is a phenomenal milestone for an idea that was popularized early this year - January.

At this pace, Ordinals are set to break multiple alts in 2023 and beyond.

Hong Kong Narrative is Getting Interesting

You’d recall that Hong Kong’s securities regulator recently announced it would allow retail trading of selected crypto assets starting June 1. Following this announcement, there’s been lots of fuss around the Hong Kong narrative.

Recently, CZ tweeted about First Digital, a Hong Kong-licensed trust company launching a USD stablecoin (FDUSD) on BNB Smart Chain.

This announcement is a big deal for the Hong Kong Narrative as it will facilitate payments and serve as a form of remittance to the native traders. Additionally, it will drive user adoption since stablecoins are safe havens for retail investors.
